Good typical dishes and well priced

As someone with an Austrian heritage we tried Bavarium when the first place we tried was packed. On the upside, brilliant Bierkeller feel, food was brilliant (we had a Leberknödel soup and two different types of Schnitzel) and service warm and friendly. Particularly appreciated the lack of "tourist" dirndls with proper length skirts and traditional designs on display with the female serving staff. If I have one grumble it's that the food is over-priced and that might lead to some avoiding what is actually a great Bayerisch food experience.

A Bavarian German restaurant, easy to travel, located in Europa center. If anyone comes to Berlin and want to eat crispy pork leg This shop is recommended. Delicious, service staff. Lovely. Can communicate in English at a standard price 👍🏻

We were looking for a German beer hall on Sunday night in the zoo area; the map was brought here. What alerted - there were actually no people. a couple of tables. the Turkish waiters turned out to be very inhospitable, they didn’t bring what we wanted. Beer, cuisine - quite decent, but below average, in Berlin there is much tastier. But the end of the evening was spoiled by the theft of a wallet from a jacket, which hung a few meters from the table and this is in an empty institution! Of course, the staff is not to blame for my carelessness, but the institution was empty, with a maximum of 10 people, and they did not care about the safety of the guests. In general, if you are looking for a typical German atmosphere and cuisine - look for better places. I do not recommend it.

Great restaurant, delicious food, great beer, low prices. The portions are huge. An important plus, the staff speaks excellent Russian.

The food was ok, but the service was shocking. It too nearly an hour for our food to arrive from ordering. We only ordered 3 munchen schnitzel. I can understand the place being busy, but this really took the piss. One of the waiters blanked us twice when asking for some service. Won't be going again.

Dry food local Bavarian food!

I think that people that say here that portions are big have not much knowledge about Bayern. I ordered Nüremberger with Sauerkraut and the portion was really small (the plate was 20cm across and there was a maximum of 50 grams of cabbage!!!!!; price was shamelessly high). At the end, the waitress said two times in a miserable tone that the tip is not included in the price, before knowing that I wanted to tip her 10%. Politeness = zero in this restaurant. Thanks but no thanks. Nobody needs such mood distructive locations. You can keep your food, I don't need this.

Hidden inside a shopping center (found by pure chance) it is a spectacular place. It seems to take a leap in time. Classic German tavern, beautiful, with attention to detail, even the staff's clothing is very characteristic. Not too scattered and very clear menu (translated into 4 or 5 languages, including Italian), classic, tasty and abundant dishes. Minimum wait before food arrives. Good beer. 100% recommended! PS: smoking room also available inside.

Vera experience typical Bavarian atmosphere and plenty of good food, not expensive. not recommended on the weekend if you are in a hurry to eat. I would only see the Italian translation of the menu, however understandable

The food is very good. And the staff was friendly. The restaurant is in the Europacenter. However, you have to bring waiting time here. If you don't have the time or patience, you're out of place here. Price performance €€ 🙃

Really nice atmosphere with traditional Bavarian decoration. It's a family friendly restaurant as they have available highchair and kids menu. The staff was nice and helpful and the food was delicious.

Last day in Berlin we went to the classic German-style brewery, I must say we were fine, very nice staff.

Used to come here every years in September, pork knuckle is good, steak is good but the schnitzel is quite badly made as it’s not crispy at all. Service wise is ok. Convenient place.

The waiters are always deeply sympathetic and extremely obliging. That makes us happy every time we visit. I found the offer extremely likeable. The tables were exemplary cleaned and the chairs were extremely comfortable. Try this good kitchen, there is something for everyone on the menu.

Lovely waitstaff and the food portions were huge. Food was also quite tasty. Don't plan on walking home, you'll be bloody full.

Bit of a random find but the food is decent with large portion sizes. You'll definitely find better places for the price but I'm giving it a 4 because it was decent, good food and good service Only thing I'd say is stay away from the draught Weiss as its watered down...
